Although Tompolo had issue some treat to the Presidency, which could be held against him for the recent damages done in Niger Delta region, yet he denied being involved nor knowing about the bombing and destruction happening in the region.
The militants are taking advantage of the call for the arrest of Tompolo to cause mayhem in the Niger Delta region. Today, they continued with their bombing of oil installations in Warri South West LGA of Delta. They reportedly blew up the Abiteye flow station and Sagara to Chevron pipelines.
Many residents of the area have fled while some are said to be trapped.
